I want to design my own build, is that possible?

Yes, you are able to customise your own build, given it is for a Toyota Troopy and the design is functional. You will need to arrange a consultation with Toby to run through a design as some details you may want might not structurally adhere. Toby will be able to finalise all details specific to your needs and the team can provide a quote.

Can I get a build for a different model or make of vehicle?

We specialize in Toyota 70 series Troopys and all builds are custom fit for those models. We do not custom make for other vehicles, however please get in contact to enquire further as some of our set builds can fit other vehicles.

How do I order?

If you would like to purchase one of our standard builds, flat packs or a custom build, please email info@odysseycustomfitouts.com.au to book in for a consult with Toby in the Perth warehouse or via phone call.

How long will it take to get a fit out?

Build times vary greatly depending on our current schedule and design chosen. From design to complete build, it can take up to roughly one month, however, wait times are dependent on availability. Expect around a 6-month wait on custom builds. Email us to get a more up to date schedule.

Are the flat packs complex to build?

The flatpacks are explained in detail with step by step instructions and a video tutorial. They are designed for anyone to be able to complete following our guides. You will need a few tools and a mate to give you a hand, but we are always here to help you along the way.

How can I pay for my fit out?

We accept cash or direct bank transfer. We require a deposit to confirm your build and then payments can be made in instalments or as a lump payment in full. We may require further payments along the way if only a deposit has been made, otherwise final payment is to be made upon completion of your build.

How much does it weigh?

A build or flat pack weighs between 120kg to 150kgs depending on the final design.

What timber do you use?

Birch plywood is utilised for all boxes as it is extremely strong and durable.

Can we use another material?

We only use Birch ply due to its strength, screw retention and overall general quality of the timber itself. If you have another material you would like to use that you believe will hold the same qualities, please chat to Toby and we can enquire about supply and prices.

How is the wood cut?

We use the latest technology of CNC (computer numerical control) cutting which ensures every piece is cut with absolute precision. All pieces are then finished by hand.

Are there any other colours?

We use black hex, white and natural birch as they are the most cost effective. Other custom colours are available, however they are roughly $70 extra per sheet and a build can use up to 9 sheets depending on the complexity of the design.

What do you use for the drawer slides?

Our large drawers use Teflon slides which are heavy-duty and allow us to increase drawer width, meaning more storage while providing a light, pull out option.

Can I add my own fridge?

We recommend specific fridges for each of our builds as they utilize the space most resourcefully, however you are able to use a different fridge which can be discussed and agreed upon at your consultation.

Is there a spot for my dog?

Absolutely! We love dogs and have made a few builds with a nice area for your dog to sit in comfort. Teddy will let you know how great it is!

Can I design a build that keeps the back row of seats in?

We offer a few layouts of our drawer systems which are a great option for keeping the back row of seats in. There is even the option to fold the seats forward and fold down the drawer system as a full-length bed! For any custom designs book in for a consult today.
